My Journey: Second Marriage;

My second marriage was several years later. It was a short-lived marriage, only about a year long. Looking back on this, I never should have gotten married to this person. I think the reason I did is that I was lonely and needed companionship. There were several red flags that went up, but I chose to ignore them. For instance, she came up one weekend, and I had forgotten to hide one of my nighties and bras. They were in the laundry basket to be washed. When I got home from work, she had found them but left them in the basket, thinking I was cheating on her. She wanted to see my reaction to her finding them to see if I was actually surprised to see them or if I knew they were there. She told me that her ex-husband had cheated on her, and she wanted to make sure I wasn't doing the same thing. Granted, we weren't married at the time. I had forgotten they were there, sooo I guess I passed that test. I told her that they were from a girl that I had dated before her, and I forgot about them being in my laundry basket. She had me throw them in the trash. After she left the following day, I pulled them out and washed them. Then, I put them back in my hiding spot.

A few weeks later, she came up with her daughter. My ex had found a Victoria's Secret catalog in my mail. She asked me about it. I told her that I had ordered that nighty that she found from there for the ex-girlfriend, and they kept sending me the catalogs because of that. She told me that they don't send catalogs out after six months, this was like a year after I told her I had last ordered from there. When she confronted me about this I finally broke down and told her that the nighty she found was not for an ex that it was for me and that I like to wear them. This went over like a ton of bricks. She blew up at me saying that liking to wear nighties as I was a "MAN" was sick and wrong. She told me that if we were to be together, I was not to wear them ever again. That she wanted me to throughout all of my nighties. So, when she left that weekend, I put all of my girly things in my shed out back of the house. I did later through them in the garbage. This should have been the end of the relationship but nope, I am glutton for punishment.

This is not the only reason we didn't make it one year. There were other situations that also led to the demise of the marriage. Though when she did finally leave, her daughter left some of her clothes and luckily, they fit me so I could finally fill like myself again. I was free to buy more outfits.
